The virtual format for this year's German Association for Aligner Orthodontics (DGAO) Congress is new to us too. If you have any questions, hopefully we can answer them below. If this is not the case, just contact our conference office any time.

How does online participation work?

As soon as you have registered for the live stream on our homepage, we will send you confirmation and an invoice. A few days before the congress you will receive another e-mail with your access data. You can use this on March 6, 2021 to log in to the live stream. Please note that individualized log-in data will be assigned to each participant, which cannot be transferred!

How can I register for the Congress?

You will find the "Registration" button on our homepage. This redirects you to our online registration portal. Follow the step-by-step instructions. If you have any questions or if any problems arise during registration, please contact us at:

Who do I contact if technical difficulties crop up on the day of the event or if the log-in doesn't work?

Do I still receive certification points even though I only attended the event virtually?

Yes, you will receive 8 continuing education points through the name you used to register for the live stream. The German Dental Association (BZÄK) reserves the right to request login IPs from us to ensure that you have participated in the live stream.

How do I obtain my certification points?

After the congress you will receive your certificate from us by e-mail.

Can I contact the speakers during the live stream?

Yes, on the "Main stage" there is a button for sending text messages. There you will have the chance to participate in the open Q&A session during and after each presentation.

Will the presentations be recorded and if so, how long will they be available?

Yes, the presentations will be recorded. The DGAO is currently discussing whether to make the presentations available on the DGAO homepage at a later date for a fee.

What are the technical requirements for attending the congress?

If you want to participate in our live stream, you will need a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone and a stable Internet or WiFi connection.

Where is the platform server located and how about data protection regulations and data security?

Lea X is GDPR-compliant. All data is stored on servers in Germany or in the EU. International security standards are met to ensure maximum data security. All data is fully encrypted and connections are certified.
